Event Rules and Regulations

  1. Participation is open to Malaysians only.

  2. Participants who are under 18 years old on the day of event are required to have parent/guardian’s consent.

  3. Pets, babies and toddlers, bicycle, motorized vehicle(s), and any wheel-run object(s) are not allowed on the run route other than official race and medical vehicle.

  4. Only registered runners are allowed to join in the run.

  5. All PARTICIPANTS are required to display the Race Bib clearly on their FRONT at all times during the race.

  6. The TIME LIMIT for 21km Run is 3 hours, 10km Run is 2 hours while the 5km Run is 1 hour.  The Event will officially end at 9:00am.

  7. Participants are advised to keep personal belongings as minimum as possible.  The Organizer is not responsible for any loss or damage.  

  8. PARTICIPANTS must collect ribbons at all check points along the designated race route or they will be disqualified.

  9. Drinking water is available at designated water stations.  Please maintain cleanliness by throwing paper cups/ drinking bottles/ rubbish into rubbish bags provided or bring the rubbish to the finish line.

  10. The ORGANIZER shall have the sole authority for the interpretation of the rules and regulations, the judge’s decisions are final and are non-contestable.

  11. All PARTICIPANTS must agree to abide by all the rules as laid down by the organizer and will not claim any damages from the Organizer such as accident, injury, loss or damage whichever arises before, during and after the said event.  All participants run at their own risks, and are required to read all rules and regulations as well as the route before the start of the event.

  12. PARTICIPANTS are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and/or consult your medical practitioner prior to registration and the actual event day.  The ORGANIZER including marshals and medical support personnel reserves the right to remove any participant deemed in distress to prevent him/her from further harm or injury.

  13. All PARTICIPANTS are to report themselves at least 30 minutes before flag-off time.

  14. Any PARTICIPANT who commences to run before the official flag-off time of his/her race will be disqualified.

  15. PARTICIPANTS who do not start within 20 minutes from respective flag-off will be disqualified, and for safety reasons, they will not be allowed to start.

  16. Prize winners MUST report to the Secretariat within 15 minutes with their original MyKad or Passport for verification or otherwise they could be deemed disqualified.  

  17. Finisher medals to be awarded to all who finishes within the time limit. All participants will also be eligible to participate in lucky draw at the end of event.

  18. The ORGANIZER reserves the right to modify or substitute any of these rules and regulations of the Event from time to time as they deem fit.  If there is any ambiguity in any of the provisions, the Organizer shall be the authority to interpret and in so doing, the Organizer will take into account the interests of all affected participants.

  19. The ORGANIZER reserves the right to amend the Event race routes as they deem fit for the safety of the participants and/or to prevent any potential hazards.

  20. The ORGANIZER reserves the right to limit and/or refuse entry without giving any reason and notice.

  21. The ORGANIZER reserves the right to cancel the Event without prior notice to the Participant for reasons of force majeure, i.e. due to occurrence of incidents beyond the control of the Organizer which render the event unsafe or impossible to be held.  In which case, the Organizer will make effort to inform registered participants prior to the date of event.  If the Event has to be cancelled, the Organizer is not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused due to such cancellation.
